Native Pollinator Garden Care & Design in Vermont

Rewild Gardens is a Vermont-based garden design, install, and maintenance service specializing in pollinator-friendly gardens in northern Vermont. Led by a Master Gardener Intern and guided by rewilding principles and University of Vermont Extension practices, we design lower-maintenance gardens with beauty and ecological benefit for every season.

Gardening Services

  • Transform your yard into a thriving native Vermont garden, however you dream it. We use regionally appropriate, disease-resistant plants to support Vermont’s pollinators, improve soil health, and reduce the need for mowing and weeding. Whether you're reworking a tired bed or starting fresh, we’ll help you and your landscape work closer with nature.

  • Our ongoing maintenance care is tailored to your garden’s needs and Vermont’s growing season. Keep your garden looking its best while supporting long-term soil health. We mulch with arborist chips, weed before weeds set seed, and divide existing plants to maintain vigorous growth throughout your garden.

  • Get your hands in the soil.
Have you wondered which plants are weeds, when you should prune, if you should prune, or how you can split plants to create more free plants? We’ll tour your garden together and share techniques for improving soil health, supporting native plants, and attracting pollinators. These sessions are perfect if you want to grow your skills with a Master Gardener Intern while tending to your own space.

  • Fruit tree and berry bush planting and pruning in Northern Vermont! Berries contain antioxidants, dietary fiber, and vitamins that help reduce inflammation and support healthy gut function. As a certified Master Gardener Intern and certified chainsaw operator, we are equipped to prune your new and old fruit trees and woody shrubs. We work with the season and implement best pruning practices to ensure optimal fruiting and blooms so you can eat more fruit, longer.

  • Do you struggle with creating your own compost? Wonder when to add water, or nitrogen inputs vs carbon? We’ll set you up with an at-home compost system that works for you. Don’t want to maintain it? We can do that, too. That way you have access to your own rich organic material that helps feed your plants.

  • Our seasonal cleanups utilize the chop and drop method - Bringing in new mulch is great but the chop and drop method ensures that we use what nature has already provided to feed your soil: leaves and cuttings found around your yard. Depending on your needs we’ll weed, mulch, edge, and tend to your beds with a sharp eye for beauty and pollinator value. Compost can also be brought in for added organic matter and soil health. And we’re a huge proponent for letting the leaves lie. Leaves breakdown overtime and feed your soil. They also offer an over-wintering habitat for bees and other insects.
